| Kris Kissner is the founder of Granny's Luck,
Inc., and presents home parties in Southern California,
teaching about personal magic and rituals. She is the mother
of two active boys, a wife, an author, a computer consultant; she also
manages to find time be an active community
volunteer, Irish dance mom and soccer mom.
Kris worked in publishing for
eight years and has been a computer consultant and graphic
artist. She was
formerly a r trustee of the MiraCosta College
Foundation (two years as president)
and was elected to the school board of the Del
Mar Union School District (1988-1992, president
1990-91). She has also taught at the community
college level, and worked as an outdoor education
teacher. She has
spent the many years researching the
practice of personal magic and the folklore of
many different cultures and is research the use of symbols
in various cultures disciplines. She lives in Southern California
with her husband and two sons.
